The ideal time to visit Ladakh is from January to May as the rest of the year, the roads and passes remain closed due to heavy snowfall. Agreed, you might have to endure rough terrain and steep roads which can take a toll on you physically but once you witness the beauty in its pure and raw form, you are likely to forget everything.
